Terms of Use

These terms cover the PDF Editor Kit website (pdfeditorkit.app) and the PDF Editor Kit apps for Android, Windows and Mac, made by Hein Thu Ya Kyaw, an independent developer ("we"). By using them, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.

What you get

PDF Editor Kit is free to use. You may use it for personal or business work. We may change, pause or remove a tool or a version at any time.

Your files are your responsibility

• Your files stay on your device and we cannot see them (see the Privacy Policy). That also means we cannot recover them if they are lost or damaged.
• Keep a copy of your original files. Most tools make a new file, but always check the result before you rely on it.
• Only use files you have the right to use. You are responsible for the files you open, change, convert or share, and for following the law.
• Conversions (for example between PDF and Word, Excel or PowerPoint) and text recognition (OCR) may not match the original perfectly. A password you remove or add is your own responsibility. Only unlock files you are allowed to open.

What you may not do

• Use the apps or website for anything illegal, or to harm other people.
• Try to break, overload or attack the website, or get around its protection.
• Copy our name, logo or design and pretend to be us.

Our work and open-source parts

The PDF Editor Kit name, logo and design belong to us. The apps and website also use open-source libraries, which stay under their own licences.

No warranty

PDF Editor Kit is provided "as is" and "as available", without promises that it is error-free, always available or right for your purpose. The Windows and Mac downloads are not signed with a paid developer certificate, so your computer may show a warning when you first open them. Download only from this website or the official store pages.

Limit of our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for lost files or data, lost income or other indirect damage that comes from using or not being able to use PDF Editor Kit. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have by law that cannot be limited, such as consumer rights in your country.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using PDF Editor Kit after a change, you accept the new terms.
